La música está de fiesta con los Billboard Music Award 2016, evento que otorga uno de los galardones más codiciados en la industria de la música. Es así que muchos artistas se dieron cita en el T-Mobile Arena en Las Vegas, Estados Unidos.
El evento arrancó con la presentación de Ludacris y Ciara, quienes hicieron una broma acerca de la entrega de los premios Oscar. “A diferencia de los Oscar nosotros de hecho tenemos nominados negros”, sostuvo el rapero entre risas durante el comienzo de los Billboard Music Award 2016.
El grupo de The Weeknd, el cual está a la cabeza de las nominaciones, se quedó con el premio Top Hot 100 Artist de los Billboard Music Award 2016. Wiz Khalifa hizo lo propio en la categoría de Top Hot 100 Song por ‘See You Again’, al cual se escucha al final de Furious 7.
En la categoría Top Male Artist el ganador fue el siempre mediático Justin Bieber, mientras que The Weeknd hizo lo propio con ‘The Hills’ en Top R&B Song de los Billboard Music Award 2016.
Otro aspecto que resaltar es la presentación de la ya veterana Britney Spears ofreció un popurrí de sus temas a la entrada de los Billboard Music Award 2016. Esto ‘prendió’ a los que estaban en el referido teatro de Las Vegas.
