El actor de “Grease” publicó una imagen donde comparó dos fotos: una de la boda de su padres y otra de su matrimonio celebrada en 1991.

“¡Feliz cumpleaños cariño! Encontré esta foto de la boda de mi mamá y mi papá. Fue agradable ver la nuestra junto a la de ellos. Todo mi amor, John”, se lee en la descripción de la publicación.

La pareja fue de las más estables de Hollywood y en el 2009 atravesó un difícil momento debido la muerte de su primer hijo, Jett Travolta.

Preston, recordada por cintas como “Jerry Maguire” y “Twins”, falleció el 13 de julio del 2020. Fue el mismo Travolta quien dio la noticia en su cuenta de Instagram. El actor recordó que su esposa luchó dos años contra el cáncer de mama.

It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many. My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side.
